BREAKING NEWS: The deadline for eligible families to request new P-EBT 2.0 cards has been extended to August 18th, giving parents more time to claim an average of $1,192 in food benefits.

Households who think they qualify but did not receive a Pandemic EBT 2.0 card in late 2021, should call the helpline number 1.800.887.8230 before the August 18th extended deadline.

The San Diego County Office of Education and Computers2Kids are hosting an event for families to purchase affordable computers on Saturday, July 8 from 9 a.m. to noon at Chula Vista High School, 820 4th Avenue, California CA 91911 (Drive Thru Event – entrance to the parking lot on K Street)

Since the beginning of the 2022-23 academic year, the partnership between SDCOE and Computers2Kids has provided over 1500 refurbished computers to San Diego families. We hope you are able to benefit from this event.

JES has completed their pilot of social studies materials. The teachers are recommending that the Board move to adopt them. If you are interested in looking at the materials, please stop by the District Office between 8:00 and 4:30 to preview them. The Board will listen to a presentation and vote regarding the materials on Tuesday, June 20th at 6:30 PM.
